Birthday Wrap-Up and Snow Days

Liam had a full birthday week this year, with his party being on 2/15, his actual birthday on 2/15 (which included dinner at Alpine Bakery - his choice), and then his birthday dinner at my mom's house on 2/22.  For his dinner this year he wanted nacho chicken & salad, and then cookies & cream cake for dessert.  It was a fun wrap-up to his birthday week!

We also had 4 snow days this year - 2 the week before the birthday dinner, and 2 the week after.  Most of them were a bust, which was really disappointing.  We had snow on really just one day, and the kids wanted desperately to go sledding, but it was just sort of pitiful.  They got a few runs in the back yard, and then were invited over to a neighbor's house to go sledding with some other kids.  They had fun, but it was nothing like the snow we had last year.
