The Dawgs finally returned back to Athens, so we had 3 home games in a row. We had a fun, LONG tailgate on 11/15 for the Auburn game, with the late kickoff. Then on 11/22, we left just after halftime of the Charleston Southern game to start our drive to PA. We made it into VA, somewhere near Roanoke, before stopping for the night. We finished the drive the next day - that was the first time we had stopped for the night, but we almost had to, since we hadn't gotten away until about 2:30. We didn't do a whole lot while we were in PA, but we did take the train into NYC one day. We started the morning off with ice skating in Central Park, then we had a little mini photo shoot in the park afterwards. Then we took the boys to Dylan's Candy Bar, and then we had some pizza for lunch. After that, we went to the Museum of Natural History for a bit, before heading over to Times Square. We had a fun day!
We left PA the day after Thanksgiving, so we could be back in time to head back to Athens one more time that weekend for our last game of the season. We're not going to talk about the actual game, but because we had gotten in the evening before, we didn't think we could effectively turn around a tailgate the next day. So we decided to try the Dawg Walk again, but we took a new approach. Instead of standing near the band (where the view gets completely obstructed by the band), we went closer to the street, where we had a front row view - it was SO awesome! We got high fives from everyone! That's going to be our new spot from now on.
