Wrapping up the Season

After our baseball marathon at the end of April, we got a little break.  Our next game wasn't until 5/3 - that was Zachary's team's last regular season game.  They had to play the Cardinals - a team that they were 1-1 against (the loss came on a Saturday, and the win came on a weekday - this day was a Saturday...).  The stakes were kind of high, because if the Dodgers had won, they would have ended the season as the #1 seed.  The odds were not in their favor though - they lost, but still ended up as the #3 seed, with an 8-5 record.  Not bad, considering how bad the season had started.
