Elfie 2011 - vol. 1

We welcomed Elfie back to our house this past Saturday. He was waiting in our Christmas tree, with a note telling the boys how happy he was to be back. After all, this is his 4th Christmas season with us!

The next day he decided to hide in the lantern Zachary made at karate camp this summer.  The boys also received a letter from Santa.  There had been a lot of fighting over the last few days, and Santa just wanted to make sure the boys knew that he was aware of what was going on.

I think he got a little homesick on Monday, because he got all snuggled up in our garland on the staircase.

By Tuesday he was happy again, and decided to play with the trains.

Then yesterday he got really cheeky, and decided to take a bubble bath. Only, anyone who has seen the movie Elf knows that elves love foods from the 4 food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corn, and syrup. So Elfie took a marshmallow bath in the boys’ bathroom sink. And please y’all, that is his foot…

This morning we found him snuggled up under a blanket with these 2 friends – Rudolph and Shrek. They were getting ready to watch tv. I wonder what they were going to watch??

Who knows what we’ll find Elfie doing next!
