Weekend in Chattanooga

The weekend before Christmas we took our annual overnight trip to Chattanooga.  We went up on Friday so we could go to Rock City for their lights that night.  It was COLD that night.  We had on our heavy coats, gloves, scarves, the works.  Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not a fan of cold weather, but at least we weren't looking at the Christmas lights in shorts & t-shirts.

The next morning we got up & had brekfast at a diner down the road.  After that, we went back to the hotel until it was time for the Creative Discovery Museum to open.  We spent most of the day there & the boys still love it!

In those last 2 pictures, we were in the weather demonstration.  Zachary got chosen as volunteer twice, and he was SO excited.  That boy LOVES science.

After a fun day at the museum, we headed out to the railroad museum for our ride on the Polar Express.  We love this tradition, and I *think* they still actually believe we went to the North Pole.  I know it's only a matter of time.  We had a fun time on the train!
