End-of-Year Party

On Wednesday 5/22 I took part of the morning to go help out with Zachary's class party.  The party was pretty early (9:00am), but that didn't stop the kids from chowing down on cake, pretzels, and Doritos!

After the snacks, the class split into smaller groups.  Half the class started working on painting their birdhouses, while the other half played a hilarious game.  One of the moms had tied a piece of ribbon to a bunch of small, powdered sugar donuts.  The donuts were then hung from a pole, and the kids had to eat the donuts without touching it with their hands.  Let's just say we had a bunch of little powdered sugar faces running around!

They had a great time, and it was neat to see how well they all got along with each other.  There really did not seem to be any kids in the class who just couldn't stand each other.  I don't know if that's normal or not but this was a fun group of kids.
