Another Birthday

Lots of birthdays this week – only this time it’s a real one (not just a blog birthday…). Today is Josh’s birthday – Happy Birthday! Pretty low-key day planned (I mean, it’s hard to get too fancy with a Wednesday birthday…). But, he does have the wonderful benefit of the LOST finale to close out his day. Lucky…He’ll also get Birthday 2.0 on Sunday when we head to my mom’s house for his birthday dinner.

Not a whole lot else going on. We decided to give Zachary a chance, and we took down the baby gate that had been put up to keep him out of our room at night/early in the morning. So far (knock on wood) he has stayed in bed. We did tell him that the first time he comes in our room & wakes us up, gate goes back up. As far as Liam goes, he has been practicing his new favorite word, “no”. Thankfully he has not started telling US no, but he uses it more when Zachary touches him or if he’s being bothered. For example, on Sunday, we went to Costco – we put them both in the seat of the cart since it holds two, and Zachary kept touching & grabbing Liam. Liam kept saying, “Nooooo! Nooooooooo!” in a very whiny voice. But, I know exactly where he learned it – that’s the same way Zachary says it when Liam is bothering him!
